The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Tea Akhvlediani held the first working meeting with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev

The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Tea Akhvlediani held the first working meeting with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev, which was initiated by the newly appointed Ambassador and was of an introductory nature.

During the meeting, in the context of further plans for activities in Georgia, the Ambassador presented proposals for the development of future cooperation with the Office of the State Minister. For her part, Tea Akhvlediani briefed the Ambassador on the activities of the Office of the State Minister, including the progress made towards civic equality and integration, the goals of the state policy and the main objectives of the strategy. The importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as the strengthening of peace and stability in the region, was stressed.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed readiness to continue cooperation.
