The Meeting of Heads of Consular Services of the GUAM Member States was held in Tbilisi
The Meeting of heads of consular services of the GUAM Member States was held in Tbilisi on October 10, 2019. At the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of technological innovations in the consular field, the provision of consular services through the special online platforms and other issues. In addition, during the meeting, the parties informed about the measures taken to prevent illegal trips of foreign citizens to the occupied territories of the GUAM member states and considered the developing cooperation among the member states in migration. The parties also discussed the draft Protocol on Amendments to the GUAM Convention on the Mutual Assistance on Consular Issues of June 7, 2001.
Also on 11 October, 2019, Consular Consultation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Georgia was held in Tbilisi.
