The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Georgia commemorated the martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of the Motherland
On December 4, 2020, the entire Embassy staff, led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev, paid tribute to the memory of martyrs who died for the liberation of the Motherland and the restoration of the internationally recognized borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
At 12:00, the Embassy staff gathered under the National Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan in front of the building and held a moment of silence in honor of the holy souls of the martyrs. Addressing the staff, Ambassador F. Guliyev reiterated the historical significance of the glorious victory achieved under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief President Ilham Aliyev and expressed confidence that the souls of the martyrs of the Patriotic War are satisfied.
The commemoration ceremony ended with the planting of a Kharybulbul or Ophrys Caucasica flower, a symbol of Karabakh, on the soil brought from the liberated Sugovushan settlement of the Tartar district under the shadow of the National Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the territory of the Embassy.
