A musical evening titled "My Paradise Karabakh" dedicated to the "Year of Shusha" has been held in Tbilisi
The concert was organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia, the Ministry of Culture and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Museum of Azerbaijani Culture named after Mirza Fatali Akhundov in Tbilisi and the Art Gymnasium of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory.
The event was attended by the represantatives of diplomatic corps, SOCAR's Georgian office, the Azerbaijani-Georgian community, relatives of Karabakh war victims, Khojaly victims.
At the beginning of the event, the souls of our martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan were commemorated with a minute of silence.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev spoke about the importance of the event. He said the concert was dedicated to the liberation of Shusha, the cradle of Azerbaijani culture, noting that this year was declared the "Year of Shusha" in Azerbaijan by the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev. During the year, a series of events dedicated to the "Year of Shusha" are to held both in Azerbaijan and abroad. Today in Tbilisi, in this magnificent hall named after Vakhtang Salaridze, the musical evening "Paradise Karabakh" dedicated to the "Year of Shusha" is one of those events.
Similar events will be organized in the regions of Georgia.
Deputy Ambassador of Turkey to Georgia Onur Sevim and others shared their views and once again congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on the victory.
Then the event continued with a concert program.
Pictures and videos of the visits of the President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev to Shusha, the flags raised by our soldiers in the liberated territories, Shusha and Kharibulbul were shown on the screen installed on the stage.
The concert featured "Karabakh Tragedy", "Khurshidbanu Natavan", "Shusha fell asleep tonight", "Kharibulbul", "Shusha you are free" poems, "You are my homeland Azerbaijan" poem, "Paradise Karabakh" dance and other musical performances.
The music evening was concluded by a speech by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the words "Karabakh is Azerbaijan."
