Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev left his mourning notes in the book of condolences opened at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Georgia

On February 8, 2023, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev accompanied by the Embassy staff visited the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Georgia.

Ambassador F. Guliyev, who left his mourning notes in the condolence book opened at the Embassy of Türkiye in connection with the terrible earthquake of February 6 that caused numerous victims and mass destruction, expressed solidarity with all citizens of Türkiye, represented by the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Georgia.

Wishing from Almighty God mercy on the victims of the disaster and speedy recovery to the injured, Ambassador F.Guliyev told his Turkish colleague, distinguished brother Ali Kaan Orbay that Azerbaijani citizens and businessmen living in Georgia, all our compatriots in the country, had accepted the tragic earthquake in Türkiye as their own a bloody wound and voluntarily extended a helping hand. The Ambassador emphasized that all the institutions representing the State of Azerbaijan, as well as every Azerbaijani, stand by Türkiye in Georgia, like in other parts of the world.
