Address of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Georgia and the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Batumi to our citizens evacuated from Ukraine and wishing to return to Azerbaijan through Georgia

We ask our citizens who have been evacuated from Ukraine and have been travelling to Azerbaijan by air and land through Georgia to inform the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Georgia and the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Batumi.

We bring to the attention of our citizens that direct flights from Poland to Georgia are operated every day during the week on the Warsaw-Tbilisi route, as well as on the 2nd, 3rd and 6th days of the week in Warsaw-Kutaisi, and on the 4th and 6th days of the week in Gdansk-Kutaisi.

In particular, we would like to note that if our citizens and their family members inform the Embassy or the Consulate General about their journey in advance, the following support will be provided:

1. The Embassy and the Consulate General will meet our citizens at the airports and accompany them to the border checkpoint between Georgia and Azerbaijan;
2. The Embassy and the Consulate General will meet our citizens at the Georgian-Turkish Sarpi border checkpoint and accompany them to the border checkpoint between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
