Memorial ceremonies were held in Georgia on September 27-Memorial Day
A number of events were held in Georgia on September 27-Memorial Day. Public representatives of Azerbaijan and Georgia, Colonel Burak Altunar, the military attachment of the Turkish Embassy in Tbilisi, officers and other officials participated in the event organized at the embassy. Participants of the event first got acquainted with the photo exhibition created in the photo of the Embassy.
Then, the memory of the martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and Georgia was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Embassy adviser Eldar Bayramov opened an event and informed about Armenia's aggression against Azerbaijan. A year ago, he handed over the next aggression attempt by the Armenian armed forces and brought to the attention of the event participants that they attacked Azerbaijani territories from different directions.
It was noted that by the order of President, Muzaffar Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, the units of the Azerbaijani Army prevented the attack of the enemy and began counter-attack operations. It is emphasized that the 44-day Patriotic War ended with the victory of the victorious Azerbaijani Army and the liberation of our lands proved that frozen conflict myth is a lie.
Georgian journalists have also prepared special reportages about the atrocities committed by Armenian vandals in our occupied territories, and it has already been reported that information about it has been delivered to the world community. It is recalled that, by the President, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev's Decree, September 27 is celebrated as the Day of Martyrs in Azerbaijan.
A documentary film prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was demonstrated later.
During the event, journalists visiting our country on the eve of the Patriotic War, public figures and experts visiting our occupied territories after the war shared their impressions.
At the end of the commemoration ceremony, a charity table dedicated to the memory of martyrs of the Patriotic War was opened.
After the commemoration ceremony at the Embassy, Embassy employees visited Bolnisi and Marneuli regions of Georgia and expressed their condolences to the relatives of our citizens who were martyred in the first day of the Patriotic War.
Also, on the basis of the appeal of the Embassy, the disciplinary building of SOCAR Energy Georgia company was highlighted in the colors of the state flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the Memorial Day.
