Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev met with representatives of the Georgian Patriarchate at the embassy, Choreographer of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Metropolitan Theodore, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Patriarchate, Metropolitan Gerasim, Rector of the Tbilisi Theological Academy, Archpriest Georgi.

The meeting was also attended by the representative of the Caucasian Muslims Office in Georgia Haji Ali Aliyev. During the meeting, issues related to the upcoming visit of the delegation of the Georgian Patriarchate to Azerbaijan were discussed. They also stressed the historically friendly neighborly and fraternal relations between the two nations, noting that the planned visit of the Georgian Patriarchate to Azerbaijan is a clear example of the high level of these relations.
