"Humanitarian Demining for Urban Recovery: Setting Standards of Excellence for Safe Settlements"

The 4th International Mine Action Conference, titled "Humanitarian Demining for Urban Recovery: Setting Standards of Excellence for Safe Settlements," will take place on 2–3 September 2026 in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Conference is jointly organized by the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) and the United Nations Azerbaijan.
The event will bring together representatives of governments, international organizations, donors, mine action institutions, experts, and other relevant stakeholders.
The Conference will provide a platform for participants to exchange experiences, strengthen international cooperation, and discuss the role of humanitarian demining in supporting urban recovery, reconstruction, the development of safe settlements, and the sustainable return of mine-affected communities.
